Abstract

The calculation of the number of disadvantaged villages in 1994 is based on the principles of balance and equity. Therefore, some of the villages that in 1993 were disadvantaged (who had received IDT assistance) will not be given IDT assistance for the second time, and the assistance will be transferred to villages that in 1993 were not left behind but still need IDT assistance.
