Abstraction

• Pasuruan Regency's GRDP value on the basis of 2010 current prices in 2020 will reach 145.59 trillion rupiah. In nominal terms, this GRDP value has decreased by 0.28 trillion rupiah compared to 2019 which reached 145.88 trillion rupiah.

• Based on 2010 constant prices, the GRDP figure also decreased, from 105.29 trillion rupiah in 2019 to 103.15 trillion rupiah in 2020. This shows that during 2020 the economic growth of Pasuruan Regency experienced a contraction of 2.03 percent. This decline in GRDP was caused by the decline in production in several business fields as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020.

• The largest role in the formation of Pasuruan Regency's GRDP in 2020 was generated by the Manufacturing Industry business field, which reached 58.97 percent (this figure increased from 56.36 percent in 2016). Furthermore, the Construction business sector was 11.94 percent (down from 13.07 percent in 2016) and the Wholesale and Retail Trade, Car Repair, and Motorcycle business field was 9.25 percent (down from 9.46 percent in 2016). followed by Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries by 6.78 percent (down from 7.80 percent in 2016.
