• Non-oil and gas exports in June 2021 reached USD 1.88 billion or increased by 21.44 percent compared to May 2021. Value Compared to June 2020, it increased by 39.51 percent.
• Oil and gas exports in June 2021 reached USD 173.17 million or up by 34.70 percent compared to May 2021. This value is up by 340.75 percent when compared to June 2020.
• The main categories of non-oil and gas exports in June 2021 are Animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) with a value of USD 185.90 million, followed by Copper (HS 74) with a value of USD 179.12 million, as well as Timber and Wood Products with a value of amounting to USD 154.38 million.
• Cumulatively, during January - June 2021, exports out East Java amounted to USD 10.92 billion, up 13.24 percent compared to January - June 2020.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination countries in January - June 2021 is the United States reaching USD 1.58 billion (with a role of 15.94 percent) followed by exports to Japan of USD 1.54 billion (with a 15.56 percent share) and to China of USD 1.31 billion (with a role of 13.15 percent). Export non-oil and gas to the ASEAN region reached USD 1.85 billion (with contribution of 18.60 percent), while non-oil and gas exports to European Union of USD 864.18 million (with a contribution of 8.71 percent).
• The value of East Java's imports in June 2021 reached USD 2.27 billion, an increase of 9.44 percent compared to May 2021. This figure increased by 48.63 percent compared to June 2020.
• Non-oil and gas imports in June 2021 reached USD 1.89 billion, an increase of 25.60 percent compared to May 2021. The value of non-oil and gas imports increased by 35.75 percent compared to June 2020.
• Oil and gas imports in June 2021 amounted to USD 378.94 million or decreased by 33.39 percent compared to May 2021. Compared to June 2020, this value also increased by 182.68 percent.
• The main categories of non-oil and gas imports in June 2021 are Iron and Steel (HS 72) for USD 206.44 million, followed by Machinery / Aircraft mechanics (HS 84) for USD 145.71 million and Dregs / The rest of the food industry (HS 23) amounted to USD 133.73 million.
• Cumulatively, during January - June 2021, imports into East Java amounted to USD 12.73 billion, an increase of 26.90 percent compared to January - June 2020, which was USD 10.03 billion
• The country of origin for the largest non-oil and gas imports during January - June 2021 from China amounted to USD 2.82 billion (28.15 percent), followed by the United States at USD 782.28 million (7.80 percent) and imports from Australia at USD 472 .63 million (4.71 percent). Non-oil and gas imports from the ASEAN group of countries amounted to USD 1.34 billion (13.38 percent), while non-oil and gas imports from the European Union reached USD 684.75 million (6.83 percent).
