Abstraction

• Foreign Tourist Visits (Tourists) coming to East Java through the Juanda entrance in May 2021 increased by 48.15 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in April 2021, from 108 visits to 160 visits.
• The number of foreign tourist visits in May 2021 increased by 1,233.33 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which only reached 12 visits.
• During the January - May 2021 period, the majority of foreign tourists were citizens of South Korea who reached 42 visits, followed by Japanese nationals who reached 41 visits and United States nationals who reached 33 visits.
• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in East Java in May 2021 reached 35.00 percent, down 3.88 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5 (five) star hotels is 39.61 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.
• Average Length of Stay of Foreign Guests (RLMT) at five-star hotels in May 2021 reached 2.08 or decreased 0.07 points compared to April 2021 which reached 2.15 days. The overall RLMT in May 2021 was 1.41 days or decreased by 0.14 points compared to the RLMT in April 2021.
