Abstraction

• Foreign Visits Visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance in February 2020 decreased by 31.37 percent compared with the number of foreign tourists visiting in January 2020, from 17,047 visits to 11,700 visits.

• The number of foreign tourist arrivals in February 2020 decreased by 32.72 percent compared with the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2019 which reached 17,389 visits.

• Most foreign tourists are Malaysians who reached 3,625 visits or up 21.25 percent, rising Singapore nationality with 1,359 visits or up 27.44 percent, and nationalities up 382 visits or up 78.59 percent in January 2020.

• Occupancy Rate Room (Room Occupancy Rate) The ROR for star hotels in East Java in February 2020 reached 52.65 percent, up 3.96 points compared to the previous month. Hotel TPK 2 (two) of 58.44 percent is the highest TPK compared to the TPK of other star hotels.

• The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) in starred hotels in February 2020 reached 2.67, up 0.01 points compared to January 2020 which reached 2.66 days. The overall RLMT in February 2020 was 1.63 days, up 0.03 points compared to January 2020 which reached 1.60 days.

During February 2023 there were 11,919 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. The ROR for star-class hotels reached 49.63 percent, up 3.56 points. The TPK for non-star rated hotels reached 22.70 percent or an increase of 1.27 points

The Room Occupancy Rate for East Java starred hotels in January 2020 reached 48.69 percent

The number of tourists to East Java through the Juanda entrance dropped by 30.36 percent while the ROR of star-rated hotels dropped by 0.31 points

During August 2023 there were 25,548 foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance. The ROR for star-classified hotels reached 51.52 percent or decreased by 6.73 points. The ROR for hotels classified as non-star reached 24.18 percent or decreased by 1.19 points

The number of foreign tourists to East Java through the Juanda entrance in November increased by 4,580.77 percent, while the ROR for star-rated hotels increased by 3.38 points
