Abstraction

East Java Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) in August 2019 rose 0.75 percent from 108.55 to 109.36. The increase in FTT is due to the price index received by farmers (IT) that has increased higher than the increase in price index paid by farmers (Ib).
In August 2019, four agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in FTT, while the rest experienced a decline. The sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Food Crop sub-sector by 1.31 percent from 110.58 to 112.03, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 1.24 percent from 112.30 to 113.69, the Livestock sub-sector by 1 , 06 percent from 112.84 to 114.04, and the Horticulture sub-sector by 0.06 percent from 101.63 to 101.70. While the sub-sector that experienced a decline in FTT was the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector by 0.47 percent from 104.35 to 103.85.
Of the five provinces in Java that did the NTP calculation in August 2019, all provinces experienced an increase in the FTT. The largest increase in FTT occurred in Banten Province by 1.29 percent, followed by Yogyakarta Special Province by 1.22 percent, Central Java Province by 1.16 percent, West Java Province by 0.83 percent, and East Java Province by 0.75 percent.
