Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Indonesian Democracy Index

In the context of compiling the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI), Wednesday, February 9, 2022 BPS East Java Province held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Indonesian Democracy Index. This FGD is an advanced stage of the preparation of the Indonesian Democracy Index after previously carrying out newspaper coding, document coding, secondary data collection and indicator results obtained from online news portals.
The event, which was held at the Novotel Samator Hotel in Surabaya, was attended by various agencies ranging from OPD, Regional Police, DPRD, Political Parties, Academics, Media and NGOs. Opened directly by the Head of the National and Political Unity Agency of the East Java Provincial Government, this FGD was held with the aim of confirming and adding information from stakeholders regarding the findings of indicators obtained from newspaper coding, documents and secondary data.
In a series of FGD events, the Head of East Java BPS, Dadang Hardiwan, had the opportunity to provide general direction and explanation regarding the Indonesian Democracy Index in East Java.
