Online 2020 Population Census Socialization Broadcast on East Java Metro TV

At the East Java TV metro station, February 17, 2020, the Head of BPS of the East Java Province, Dadang Hardiwan, had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at the Middle Point event. Besides Dadang, Achmad Sjafii was also invited as a practitioner and demographic expert.

With the theme "Population Census and Data Needs", the two speakers discussed the Online Population Census carried out by the Central Statistics Agency from 15 February to 31 March 2020. According to a survey conducted by Metro TV, there were still 60.9 percent of people who did not know that this year was the year the Population Census was held.

It is the duty of BPS to further echo these large activities, hopefully with this event the public will understand more about the Population Census activities and want to participate in them.
